Climbing in the rain

After our big Lagoon date, Jesse and I woke up early trying to decide if we should cancel the rock climbing Young Single Adult activity we had agreed to help with. The prediction for the day was rain - and lots of it. By 9am, the sun was still shining and there were barely any clouds, so we decided to go for it. We met, voted and decided to drive down to Maple Canyon (in Fountain Green) for our climbing adventure. As we drove, we watched the black clouds roll in and wondered if we would have any chance of climbing on a wet rock wall. Luckily, the clouds held in the rain for the majority of the morning and most everyone got to climb. Unluckily, I came down with a terrible cold as a result of standing in the rain for the last few hours. We still had a great time and enjoyed every second of being in that beautiful canyon! We are beginning to cherish every second we can spend in the mountains, as we don't get to spend half our lives there like we used to.
