Lone Peak Wilderness

I have the greatest sister-in-laws EVER! Jamie and Stef were kind enough to join me to scout out some hikes (for girl's camp) in June despite the forcast for rain (rain? in june? in utah?). The terrain was steep and fairly strenuous (ask the YW who later had to climb in the heat), but they trudged along with me. As we got higher and higher, the electricity and humidity increased and soon we had a heavy thunder/lightning storm on our hands that not only pegged us with hail, but poured rain so hard we were running in 6 inches of flowing water down our trail. Luckily we all lived (and laughed a lot) - especially Stef, who was still recovering from the Swine Flu! It was an epic hike - which are always the best.
