A few weeks ago we joined the Slade family (my mom's side) for a super-fun campout up at the church-owned Heber Valley Camp. Unfortunately, we left our beloved camera there and just barely got it back - thus the delay in blog posts. We had a blast playing at the lake on canoes/paddle-boats, the challenge ropes-course and enjoying food and each other's company around the fire. When we first arrived at the camp and went to check out our cabin, we quickly realized it was going to be a rough night. We had thought the cabin bunkbeds had existing pads, so we didn't bring any....well, they didn't. The thought of sleeping on a plank of wood at 30 weeks prego was a bit distressing; not to mention making sure my 3 year old (and 30 year old) got through the night. Luckily, Jesse used his ninja skills to sneak into another unoccupied camp and stole (borrowed) a foam mattress left there (love that husband of mine!). We survived the night and were very glad we were able to enjoy a fun weekend in those beautiful mountains. Thank you, Slades!
